2. Make vegan buttermilk. In a small cup, mix soy milk and apple cider vinegar. Set aside.⁣
3. In a large bowl, place flaxseed meal and 4 Tbsp. water. Mix well and set aside for a few minutes to thicken. ⁣
4. In the same bowl, add banana and mash with a fork. Mix well.⁣

10. Bake it for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. ⁣
11. While cooling the cake, place all the ingredients for the coffee cream in a high speed blender and blend well until smooth. If your cream is too thick, add your choice of plant milk to reach your desired consistency. Spread the cream over the cake.⁣

Recipe: Serves 2
160-200g pasta (depending how hungry you are)
1 cup broccoli florets (about half a large head steamed over the boiling pasta in a sieve until slightly soft, rinsed in cold water straight away)
2/3 cup packed fresh basil
1 clove of garlic
1/3 cup fresh frozen garden peas
1tbs nutritional yeast
juice of half a lemon
2tbs of water to blend

Get the pasta on to boil and steam the broccoli over the boiling pasta until slightly soft then rinse in cold water. Place all ingredients into blender and blend, add in the water 1tbs at a time just to get it going. When the pasta is cooked drain and rinse, add the pesto and mix well, return to heat and warm through for a few minutes. I make my air popped popcorn by placing some popcorn kernels into a microwave safe bowl and cover it with a plate. Place in the microwave and voila! If you want that sweet and salty combination, I topped mine with two teaspoons of mini chocolate chips.🙋‍♀️

Currently coming towards the end of an amazing week up north, starting with a wedding and finishing tonight with a free meal at my favourite restaurant (as a thanks for singing at one of the staff-members weddings earlier in the summer). We have really enjoyed ourselves and eaten freely, but also been out for long walks every day, and even a run or two. The scenery is so beautiful that it's impossible not to want to get out and explore as much as possible. Popped in to my meeting on Friday, not to weigh but just to check in as have been unable to go for a while. Am actually excited to get back to weekly meetings from next week, face my gain, small or slightly less so, and get some momentum going again. Have had such a great summer though, and wouldn't change a thing. It's actually a really big turning point for me to be able to take a little break and not let it swirl in to a vortex of binge eating and instead just enjoy the moment and then get back to it. Life feels pretty good at the moment, and I feel like my relationship with food is improving a little more every day!

Just like always. I chose a good protein Source, good carbohydrate source that fit my energy expenditure needs and a good fat source. Always include all three of your macronutrients and every one of your meals.:)💪

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds asparagus
4 small potatoes
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 cups vegetable broth
2 cups califiafarms Unsweetened Better Half
Lemon, for serving

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and place asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with oil of choice and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat and roast for 15 minutes until the asparagus softens.
2. Heat olive oil in a large stock pot over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, then cook with the onions and garlic for a few minutes. Pour the vegetable broth and almond milk, bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
4. Add the roasted asparagus into the pot. Uses an immersion blender to blend the soup until it’s smooth and creamy. You can also do this in batches in a blender.
5. Stir in the lemon juice and serve with grilled bread and chives, if desired.

Healthy people are consistent with many aspects of their life [what I call non-negotiables]. They have a positive outlook on their failures and flops. They don't let setbacks be setbacks for long. Thy search for joy every day. They're consistent with eating more plants and so much more.
We all have our specific needs, so healthy will look different to everyone.
These two ✌ things I choose to focus on and to be the. How can I grow? How can I overcome what I'm going through? How can I make this easier for me so I can do this every day? How can I feel better and do those things every day?
And if you don't know WHAT exactly what those things are you need to do (what is that big leap? What are those things to feel better?)... that's ok. I didnt know either when I started out too.
However I've cracked my code to live a better & healthier life. I've helped hundreds over the last few years do the same.

Last night I lifted back (and biceps) for the first time since my injury. Today I’m very sore, but also glad and hopeful. Three months ago I thought being where I am now was next to impossible.. Especially considering my workouts (since I’ve been cleared) have been extremely limited with my weights/exercises. I was truly terrified to start training my lower back again. So beyond proud of myself for starting this part of my recovery ❤️ {Also, thank you @whatwouldgracesay for being my gym partner and helping me stay motivated and determined.. even when you invite me to lift at the busiest times of the day 🤦🏻‍♀️😘}

'Havannet Fit, sin azúcar'
Para mi cumple hice esta súper torta, quedo genial. Qué opinan? Y con pocos ingredientes, fácil, rica... no te puede salir mal jaj .
Ingredientes: 🥥 2 tazas de coco rallado.
🥥 2 huevos.
🥥 chorrito de vainilla.
🥥 pizca sal.
🥥 1 cda. Stevia liquida. 🥥 dulce de leche sin azúcar (1 taza aprox).
🥥 chocolate amargo sin azúcar derretido con una cda. de aceite de coco
.
Pasos:
1) Mezclar el coco, vainilla, sal huevos y stevia en un bowl.
2) Poner la mezcla en un molde y ayúdate con tu mano o vaso para ir aplastando para que quede más compacta.
3) Llevar al horno medio por 20 minutos, hasta que este medio dorado.
4) Esperar a que enfríe y poner dulce de leche y luego el chocolate derretido.
5) Dejar en la heladera.
